Dear Students and Faculty,
A configuration update to the email server that MyCourses uses to distribute email notifications caused a temporary stoppage of email delivery between the hours of 10:20am-8:20pm on Wednesday, 2/26. The issue has been addressed and system-generated emails are being sent as expected.
Please be aware that system-generated notifications that were sent during this time were, unfortunately, not delivered and cannot be recovered. However, since MyCourses only sends notification messages, no content was lost.
If you have launched MyCourses and viewed your course after 8:20pm on Wednesday, 2/26, you will likely have already identified updates that would have generated a notification email. However, you may want to quickly review:
- forums in which you've been active to identify any new forum posts that have been made
- your personal messages for any new messages that may have been sent
- your grade report to identify any new grades that were posted
